Haven't been to this place for a long long time.The first time, which is a few years back, I went there with my whole family. Knowing that they have not bad and not expensive food as well as not bad environment, I know I'll come back next time.
Well, I'm not really a regular customer of that place. But I visited this place most often last year. Haha, to be more precise, I'm more to a half-worker of the place. I used to sing with a partner there.
It's quite a good experience actually. Some people do listen to you, and some people will just make noise behind. Some will make dedications, and some will request for some really hard to play songs. Sometimes, we'll be the ones bringing a little joy who came to celebrate birthdays at that little place.
About a quarter of a year, I've been singing there. I enjoyed most of the time being there. When we're able to sing what customers requested for, and when we just sing like nobody's business. Haha.....But the boss was, pretty yim chim(stingy) I could say. And from the top, we could see that the customer service is pretty, unacceptable,most of them are foreign workers, without proper training. Anyway, it's not under our scope to care so much accept when the boss starts to violate employees' rights. Our pay is given after every half of the month. And when there's 5 weeks in a month, they'll only give you the pay of 4 weeks!! Ridiculous and unacceptable. That's why we stopped singing.
Haha.
So I still drop by when there's some occasions or some gatherings with friends. And nothing has ever improved. Till a day, they changed their menu. Food choice less, and food prices increased. It's kinda bad, and I heard they change their management. So since then, faces became a no no visit place to me.
After a few months, there I am again. Just to see how the singers are and how is business going on.
It turned out to be me, eating lotz of french fries and a whole huge glass of erm...what do you call that? Arnold schwarzenegger? Or Christina Arguilera? Haha.....can't really recall, a just know that it's a mixture of 4 fruits. There was only 1 guitarist that night, not much customers, and all workers are Chinese. Hmm....the singer was not bad la, at least.
Maybe I'll still come next time, Maybe.
