The weekend

I had a real tiring Saturday.

At first, I had quite a nice sleep, that should be a good thing.

Then I left the house with Kim at about 12 something. She dropped me at 1-utama to catch Rapid KL to go to KLCC. It seems that there are no direct bus from here to KLCC and I had to switch buses in KL Central. Fine then.
But the first bus I'm taking is travelling from one end to another, meaning 1st stop 1-utama and last stop KL Central. Which means it will be a one hour plus journey.
Sien nia......

Okay, so I was half scenery-looking and half book reading. And wondering how good will it be if I have my own car or even just a motor to transport myself around! There are so many shops that I would like to drop by, or maybe just some window shopping.
I reached KL Central around 1345hrs. And stood there waiting for the next bus.

The weird thing about a bus stand is there's no seats at ALL! How pathetic could that be.....well, although I'm not carrying anything heavy but still, sitting while I wait is definitely much more comfortable than standing. Without knowing what is the frequency of the bus, I just waited blindly. One by one buses passed by, some of the bus numbers even repeated twice or thrice! But patheticly, not the bus I wanted to take.
Till its about 1415hours, I just couldn't wait and I decided to take the LRT. Who expects to see the bus pass by when I was on my way up the escalator. Argh....quickly I rush my way down back to the waiting line, and thank god I got in to the bus. Well, most of the people must have wondered why not I just take the LRT since it's going the same way? here is the stupid answer, I'd rather forgo my time for cheaper fares, which means if I take the bus it'll only cost me RM2 to and fro, whereas if I take the LRT the cost will be doubled up. Stupid me huh....

Okay so I reached KLCC at a few minutes pass 3. Much much much later than the time I expected. And guess what, I took freaking 3 hours to go from Damansara to KLCC! Yay...just equivalent to the journey from KL to Bukit Merah maybe....=.=

When I entered the mall, I could hear pretty clearly voices of people screaming. Just like you're on the roller coaster. Weird. So as I approached nearer to the center hall, I saw loads of people around the stage at the Canon Camera Exhibition Corner. So there must be some celebrity visit. Wondering who is it, I hopped up and down. As if I could see anything with my height=.= Haha....so I managed to hear something from their conversation with the emcees. So its Farenheit, so called 4 entau ba-s from Taiwan. Just for fun, I tried taking photos of them. But as I said, with my height, its pointless. A lot of people actually asked the Canon worker who was stading at a higher platform to take a photo for them. Haha....and I did that too.
See those cameras trying to take a shot of them? Beh tong nia....
So I'm not any big fan of them, no point waiting and squeezing there, with no outcome. Moreover I guess I'm too old to catch up with these activities. I went down to RotiBoy to buy my brunch. Two RotiBoys for RM3.60. Not cheap. Anyway, it was hot and nice. When I came up, the crowd was still there and the celebrities are about to leave. They left through the escalator and bravo...with all the girls trying to touch them or whatsoever, the side mirror of the escalator broke down. Aih....kesian nia.....
I moved on to the exhibition. There were more people today as compared to last Wednesday. And I got myself pretty much cheap books. Well, all of the books are on at least 20% discount. And you even have some of the cool books under hot promotion at only prices below RM20. I walked around, browsing through section by section in detail. In the end, the bill totalled up to nearly RM170(that's only for the chinese books section). O.O Fuyohhh.....got myself a shock too...
That's not all. I got myself some stationery, some stamps and bottles of perfume too.....haha.

hoho....my books..........
Some screen shots of the exhibition...not taken by me though....I was too concentrating on the books

Was eager to buy the collectibles and merchandise of Beijing Olympics 2008. But it was too expensive. Aih, i just love the adorable mascots, but too bad I had to give it up.

Hahahaa...don't they just look adorable?

There were even some packet food and drinks(like green tea and wong lou kat?) on sale. A lot of idea gifts at huge discounts too....$$..$$ No money la....
And I don't really have enough time to look through every single booth and section. Too bad. Before I could move on to the English Section, it's already 2000hrs. I had to leave or else I might reach home by, midnight?

Okay, headache comes again. How should I go back? Will it be another 3 hour journey? I hope not....aights.

Wanted to take the bus. Didn't know where to wait and the guard asked me why not just take the LRT. Well, true. I don't have much time to waste. So I went to buy the LRT ticket, and it cost my RM1.60. Stupid me, why didn't I just take the LRT this afternoon since it is cheaper and faster?

Then I took a bus and it dropped me at the road junction to the curve. Which is like 10 mins driving distance from Kim's house? And unfortunately they are not around that area which means I need to walk back home? And that was already 2130hrs? Oh, tiring. And I had lots of books in hand!

What to do.....wanted to ask for a taxi. But it seemed they're all reluctant to go into Damansara Perdana. And when I asked how much they charge to go to the nearest LRT station, to my amaze, RM30!
Hell of a fortune.

I walked. With all the weights. This should be good training huh....I reached home, sweaty. 2210hours.

Okay, had to contact Kim. No choice but I need to trouble them to get to the LRT or else I'll miss the last LRT.

Did I mention why I had to go to the LRT? Yeah, because if I overnight at Kim's place I would have to wake up 5am or probably earlier the next morning to go to KLCC as my first class starts at 8am. So I'd rather go back to Taman Melati where there's direct LRT to KLCC.

0020hrs. The next morning. I haven't had dinner.
Amazing huh.....

It's a real real real tiring day, I even got frustrated at times. Trust me. Living in KL without your own vehicle ain't fun.
I gotta sleep. Workshop tomorrow!!!

30 May 2008

2nd Class in MML

Went to college but not to lecture. Just to use the internet and blog a lil.
After lunch, my friend dropped my to KLCC and I took the LRT to head to Bangsar LRT station, again.

There were really a lot of people behind the ticket machine, and the counter. You could actually see the whole hall of people lining up for tickets. So that means I have no choice but to do the same thing too. Since I don't have small change, I had to queue up at the main counter line. It took me at least around.....20 minutes? to get my ticket. Phew, and I forgot to mention that I was carrying quite a heavy luggage with me. The ticket cost me RM2.

Well, that's not big deal. After I reached Bangsar LRT station, since I have enough time from my class, I walked opposite and tried waiting for the bus to Damansara Heights again. I managed to catch up with the correct bus number, but the driver said that I need to walk opposite to get a bus to KL central before I can get another bus to Damansara Heights.

What??? That was the first word which came into my mind after getting the instructions.

Sigh, and feeling a lil tired, I walked back opposite with my bag and everything to catch a bus to KL Central.

Yup, and to make things better, it was raining cats and dogs at that time.
The distance between Bangsar and KL Central was not too far. And the waiting time for the next bus was thankfully not too long. But....there's still a but, the bus driver this time was really rude. As though he can't speak nor smile, he just stared and nod when I asked him questions. The worse part is when he used he hands to block me when he saw me walking pass the back door of his bus thinking that I'm going to get up from there. "!!" What kind of attitude is this.....

With such a person, I know I had to stay alert throughout the journey in the bus as I will never know when will I reach Damansara Heights. When I saw quite a lot of high-rise office towers, I panicked and asked the passenger beside me whether we're already at Damansara Heights. And when he say Yes, I quickly pressed the stop button and got off the bus. The buildings are all on the opposite side of the road. When I saw the word MenaraManulife RHB, I almost fainted. It seemed to be quite far from where I am now. And yea, I don't have an umbrella!!

So I did A LOT...and I mean REALLY A LOT of walking. Under the rain, and with a luggage and a laptop in my backpack. What a great idea huh.....After that much walking and when I reached MML, I saw the same bus I took passing by just right in front of the building. "SHOOT ME!" I was ALL wet by then......

After I dry up myself, I began revising my choreo. I was at the member's lounge, and all of a sudden a very weird big sized with messy beard guy approached me. He does not look appealing at all, in fact I could use the term, scary. He initiated a conversation by asking whether I'm still studying(that's because I had some script in front of me), and when I said no he just continued asking more questions. Like....erm then what are you doing, you still look very young, where will you be studying in the future, why do you choose to go there, isn't local institutions good enough....Blah blah blah there it goes....I had no choice but to turn off my MP3. He got so excited till he brought himself to his old time stories..his experience going to China, how are the people here and there...and blah blah....I can't even be bothered! I just wonder how nodding could make him feel that I'm interested in whateva crap he's saying! I'm not even giving any other response! Argh....and there goes more...he loves food, what food does he take in the mornings, what does he likes about Malaysia.............
OkAY! Enough is enough...I need to keep on staring at my watch to indicate that I'm in a rush to prepare for my class! At last, I managed to get RID of him. Oh ya, and before I step away from the table, he asked again, "So what's my name..?" Oh dear....thank goodness his name is easy enough to remember! Damn....he just spoilt the beauty of the name, Jaffrey(or whichever way you spell it). I need to stress that he looked even worse than Osama??

Yeah, trust me. So I escaped and had some time in the changing room instead, listening to the songs. Hopefully I could do well in class later.

It's time. I introduced myself and there was a member further behind asking where is Kim. After I explained she just nodded and gave me the facial expression of dissatisfaction. I'm goinna be stressed out....!
It was supposed to be okay, until the members felt bored on the way I coach? Aiks....I don't really know how to explain. One by one walked out until there was only down to 4 members in the class. That is totally BAD. Oh ya and did I mention that the freaky guy entered the class as well? And walked out after Track 8 announcing to the whole class that he's tired and he needs a break? Should I feel thankful or what? He made some weird noise throughout the class and clapped when he feels like it. And if you think things were not worse enough, my MP3 kong-ed off in the middle of party track. BAD. I didn't realize that the adapter wasn't really plugged on and there it goes. Embarrassing moment. Ah.....
Well, I should be glad that there are still "survivors" I call when I did the cool down track.
Sob Sob Sob......
So I did communicate with the members after I finish the class. They were quite friendly actually. I don't mean those who walked out from the class la of course....So I shall work harder I suppose.

So the freaky guy was still sitting at the member's lounge after the class. That means I should avoid getting close to that area or to even get a drink. Fine then, I went straight to shower.
Who expects him to still be THERE when I came out from the changing room??? Bad day.....
And he wanted to talk to me again! Ah....okay okay...I'm leaving I'm leaving and I gotta go...Just have to be mean. When things are not in the correct place.

Good thing is, I can actually online in MML! Say yeah! But I had to leave not long after I log on as Kim was there to pick me up. So we went for dinner and head back to the office. It was Jerrican's birthday yesterday and Kim bought him a pandan cake and all of us sang birthday song to him after he ended his class, 2200hrs. A surprise for him! After sharing out the cakes, we went back home.

Long long day.....what am I goinna do tomorrow? Hopefully I can indulge myself with some better activities?
Hopefully.

29 May 2008

Free day~

Thursday.

Again, we stayed at home until it's time for lecture. 1330hrs. And again, I didn't have any proper lunch before I leave. Hopefully I can stand it.

Lecture was pretty boring, with the lecturer trying to joke and be funny, and with the same topics that we'd learnt before during diploma. Aih, and we don't have any notes nor manuals. There were not enough seats in the lecture hall, so most of us had to share seats. Felt sleepy after awhile. Tried to online but there was no connection in the hall. Boringgg........and I'm starting to feel hungry.
Luckily, lecture ended before 1530hrs.

Tried to find my way to the canteen. It was raining by then. A lot of people were there. Most of them packing food for dinner. The economic rice could be considered very cheap, 3 dishes with rice for RM1.90 and 4 dishes with rice for RM2.20. They had quite a huge choice of dishes to choose from too. The other stalls sell pretty affordable food, fried rice or noodles, and even western food.

So after late lunch, I headed to the library. I heard it has 6 storeys. Wow.......
There was a hot-spot area for students to go online, either with our own laptops or their desktop. However, you can't log on to MSN with their desktop. I could detect the network, but didn't manage to connect to it. Wierd......got frustrated after trying for quite awhile, gave up and used the public computer instead.

1700hrs. My friend finished class and brought me back home. Another condominium. Same developer as the first one I'd been to, just that this was built earlier. Same design, same land area. We chat and updated each other on some latest issues. It has been a long time since we had such a talk. Till its dinner time.
We went to Carrefour, and had dinner in Mr Teppanyaki. The food was not bad, quite big portion too....After I bought myself a pair of new sandals and some grocery shopping, I went to my previous home, PV10 and move to this condo, PV5.
Thanks to my friends and ex-classmates for bringing me around these 3 days.:D

Ok, sleep time!
I have a class to teach tomorrow!

28 May 2008

Wednesday

It's Wednesday.

I don't really have any big plans today, so I slept till my alarm woke me up. 0930hrs.
Was wondering around. Writing some notes, and jotting down my heavy expenses.

Till it's time for my friends to go to college. 1400hrs.
I planned to skip lecture today and go to the largest book fest in KLCC. There will be an author attending the fair giving a small talk and an autograph session. So I reached the venue just in time. Asked for directions, and headed to the main convention hall. The book fest is actually quite a walking distance from Suria KLCC, the shopping mall. And I still haven't taken any formal breakfast or lunch. Just a cup of milo before I come.

The hall is really really huge. It's a combination of 5 halls. The first thing I looked for as I reached there was the ticket counter. Entrance fee is RM2 per person per day. Free for students ONLY below 18 and kids below 12(Haih, as though college students are rich people). I got the booklet, the wrist band and entered the hall. Yeah, as seen from outside, really huge. Second thing, the stage for the talk. Now where the hell is it......and I've gotta ask for directions again. The 'best' part was that I need to walk all the way to the last hall and to the back of the hall. It's far la.....=.=

Managed to catch up with the talk. I guess the author is not used to public talks, haha. The speech wasn't too long. The main focus would be on the autograph and drawing session. He drew different drawings for each book everyone bought on the spot. The drawings were quite simple, but interesting.
After that I started hunting for books. From section to section, left to right, up and down. By that time, I'm really hungry! Met Xiaoqin and we had a little chit chat as we browse through the books.

1700hrs. I really need to eat! But the thing is, where should I go to get some eatable and economic food? It's KLCC you know, a place where you will be charged RM1 for each half an hour of parking! Hahaha.....thank god they have Cold Storage here, where I can get some pre-packed food. RM2.20 for a really small packet of nasi goreng kampung. Just enough to fill my hunger pangs. Then I walked around the mall searching for places with wi-fi facilities. Failed of course. Got a bit furstrated, as I really need to stay connected to the internet and it has been 5 days since I last check my email. Aih....in the end, I'd no choice but to go back and continue book hunting.

Not long after that, my friends arrived and we headed for dinner. Wanted to leave KLCC and go to some hawker stalls for cheaper food. Ended up being lost for more than an hour in no-where land of Selangor. We even nearly land up in KLIA because of the wrong turns. Yeah, this is KL and for us newbies, moving around isn't an easy task. Just one missed turn will cause you to reach somewhere you've never been to. Like a huge maze. Scary at times. We're hungry, just wanna get some simple food la....

Phew, it was about 2100hrs when we finally get back to somewhere we're familiar with, Petaling Street. And luckily they do sell food. Haha.....had some weird-taste chicken rice, and a honey dew. Owh and some gui ling gao too....Then, it's time to head back home.
We thought it should be fast, but, we got lost again=.= Stopped at McD to take a break, and to grab chance to online. But apparently they claim that they do not have any Wi-Fi connection when we actually detected a network under the name of BigMac...Hmm.....
After we finally finally managed to find home, we decided to drop by CC to just, online for awhile. 36mins for RM1.50.
What another tiring day....

Tomorrow? I shall attend lecture and stay away with traffic. See what it's like being an advanced diploma student.

27 May 2008

Tuesday

My first day in KL.

So I'm going to teach a class in very few hours after I settle down. Not much time for me to practice or do anything else. I need to head to Menara Manulife, which I don't have any idea at all where it is. Asked for directions from Teoh, and he told me to take the LRT to Bangsar and bus to MML. Sounds pretty easy.

After reaching Bangsar LRT station, I went on asking around for the correct bus number. It ended up either the bus doesn't stop by Damansara Heights or the bus didn't even bother to stop at the station at all! Okay, I'm so running out of time, so I called Andrew for directions, and he told me to take the cab which will cost me less than RM5. Well, what to do. The fare is based on meter, and as it was about 4pm that time, Bangsar was quite congested. I reached roughly 20 mins later and it cost me RM6.....woah0.0 (First time me taking cab alone...)

So I got in to MML. Not a big gym, in fact smaller than IP. The studio and changing room is smaller than IP's too. Anyway, after getting the mic from the front of house, I started setting up the music. I couldn't turn on the music! Aiks....what to do what to do....and how come I don't see Teoh around yet. Panic...... Then I went down to ask Serena for help. At last, settled. Harvin came to the class as well, and he has already been cleared for a couple of months. Quite nervous actually, and when I started the class, Teoh still haven't arrive. Hmm...I wonder where he is....

Okay I screwed up the very first track! Gosh what's in my mind. And I knew that Harvin definitely had all the choreographies locked in his mind! Ahh....shame la. To make it better I screwed up Track 2 as well, and that is when Teoh hop in. Track 3 was smooth I guess but Track 4, a mess again. Sob sob....what am I doing??
Argh....confused.
One more thing. I only have half of my 300ml water bottle full. By the time it's Track 8, I'm worn out!! How la....wanna continue till the end? Thank god this is a 45 minutes class, haha. Track 10 was a real confusing one, I thought I lost my mind. And so I ended my class, on time. A member came up to me after class and said that I did pretty well, wow, what a shock! Haha, didn't expect that to come though, thanks to her anyway.
And it's evaluation time!!

Harvin got his evaluation as well, then its my turn. Well, as I expected, choreo choreo choreo......that's the base. The rest, just some corrections for the techniques. And I need to do CRC! Hmm....this is really tough....So after the shower, I took a ride on Harvin's car to the nearest station, MidValley.

Goinna meet my friends back, who are heading to Sungai Wang. After much walking around the mall, more likely the maze, I saw tonnes of things that I want to buy!! Shopping shopping....! But not enough cash la....hahaha. There were quite a lot of people, although it's Tuesday. After meeting my friends, we head to shops selling wholesale haircare products. And a bought myself a hair cream, to cure my worsening split ends. Then it's late dinner. 9pm, we were at Mdm Wang's Kitchen. 50% off on Tuesdays! But for selected items only lah.....hehe. Had butter chicken rice, quite nice actually. And we head back home.

What a long day. I think I forgot to mention that I'm kinda sick. No big deal, just some serious cold cough=.=
And I mean really serious when it comes to dark, I'll cough non-stop before I sleep. Took some pei pa gou from my friend. Pity her, it must be some form of sound pollution to her. Haha.....

Okay, no more cold drinks for me ya? I need to get this over....Good night.

Wedding

Not mine of course.....Haha.

Me and my family went down to Johor on Saturday. And I drove the first half of the journey. Haha. This is my first time driving on the highway and first time driving dad's waja, pretty exciting actually. Luckily I didn't get much nagging from dad, who sat just beside me with eyes wide opened all the way long. The weather was okay as we departed at 6.45am from home, not really sunny, but quite misty. I didn't really speed, just between 120-150km/hr maybe? Haha.....syoknya....hopefully I don't see a police bill arriving my house door a few months later. Sis took over my place after Sungai Buloh. We stopped a couple of times throughout the journey, and one of the rest area in Johor named Pagoh is a real disaster...........How? Yea, with flies attack. Flies all around the place, the food, the fruits, the stalls, the table, the sink, the bin, the seats, the people...... Even walking will cause a fly death on the floor. Just imagine. How are we supposed to eat at such environment=.= And it cost dad RM6 for a chicken rice!! Just because the chicken rice stall is out rice, dad has to buy it separately and how dare they sell a quarter chicken half with chicken bones for RM5!....haih, what to do. No choice. After lunch, we continued our journey under quite sultry weather until we met a serious lorry accident and got a lil bit jammed on the road. 3 lanes into 1 lane. And thank god, not long after that, it's my uncle's place.

That leads to.....really GOOOOOD food.
Haha, what I really look forward to coming to Johor is definitely the food. My favorite Kiam Chai Th'ng(Salted vege soup)! Other than that, we had some curry chicken, lor bak, jiu hu char, and some vegetables. Satisfying meal. Unfortunately we found a lil part of our car was broken, the plastic covering front wheel, and we gotta get to the workshop immediately. Luckily it could be repaired on the spot. After reaching my aunt's house we took a nap until it's dinner time.

It's my cousin sister's wedding. And there were a lot a lot of people invited to the wedding eve. Same nice food again. And I had...I think 3 plates of rice? Hahahahaha.....really enjoyed. Meanwhile I saw my little one month plus old nephew. He is so cute...and we played and talked to him. Predicted to be an active guy when he grows up. We had some plans on how to trouble the bridegroom as well. Haha, we'll see what happens tomorrow.

0930hrs next day. The bridegroom arrived just about that time. And let the games begin.

Everyone dressed up and looked nice. And there was a buffet line....lots of nice food again. Beef, chicken, prawns, fish, squid, vegetables, beehoon, rice......and yea, I ate almost 3 rounds again. Ahhh....where will all the fat and calories go....

Then it was the tea serving ceremony, and also ang-paos for those not unmarried.

The buffet line was too much, more than half left in the end. Everything was packed for meals for days to come. Haha, or else it would be a waste, thinking of the victims of Szechuan and Myanmar.

After a short nap, we went to Jaya Jusco Tebrau City. It's something like Queensbay Mall, high-end market just not as big. There are some shops which are not available in Penang selling cool attires too. I bought myself a top from one of them. The bakery was really great and the aroma was nice. How I wish I could buy all those cute and unique buns back. Haha, cakes were attractive too. Unable to finish exploring the mall, we had to go back as it's time to prepare for the dinner.

Well, I forgot to bring my pants that I'm supposed to wear for the night! Argh.....so how? Wear jeans? Haahaha......who cares right, I'm not the bride.

So after a messy makeup, we went to meet uncle and fortunately I met my personal image designer, my cousin sister in-law who borrowed me some good stuff to go along with my dress. Was not really comfortable with it as that's not my usual style, the very very casual and t-shirt-jeans like one. So from there we go, to the restaurant.

The dinner started about 7.45pm. And the bride looked so glamorous. Red-Pink gown, with a little crown on the head. Just so beautiful......

And then, time for FOOD...again. The dinner was really great, with lots of variety, and HUGE portion. The shark fins soup, the chicken with the mantou, the cod fish, the lotus leaf rice, the mushroom and vegetables, the prawns and squids and lots more. Most of tables didn't manage to finish the food, especially those with a lot of kids at the same table, and most of them packed back home.
Thinking of those victims from earthquake and cyclone, I hope that we don't waste any food tonight.
I had some red wine, yeah, once in awhile, it's really good.
Some of my relatives went back drunk, haha. To much alcohol.

And we ended the day. Back home, and a nice sleep.

The next morning, we planned to depart for Port Dickson at about 10am. But due to some unforeseen circumstances, it was delayed till 12pm.=.= Such a huge delay huh...Well, we had some nice food as well before leaving Johor, besides aunty's really nice home-made bak chang, my uncle brought us to have some more refreshing food=no meat(It was bak kut teh originally, thank god the menu changed), bitter gourd soup. It was quite nice, and I had a lot
of rice, again.

So, off we go and we arrived PD at about 3pm. Our condo was...........looking so awfully pathetic. It was the 1st week of holidays but there are only like less than 10 cars in the whole freaking condominium. And the condition looks bad. Well, I think we scared our cousin sister and the family. I think they'd never thought that dad will bring the
m to such place. Haha......well, what to do, just for a night, so we'll just bare with it. It's a free stay, so no point counting too much. And we went out for a little meal. After the meal, we head for the PD water theme park that dad mentioned. Didn't really know where is it though, but after much discovering, we found it. In comparison with where we're staying, this theme park resort is totally, awesome. The water theme park was not huge, but it's free for all in house guests. So cousin sister decided to stay in, and we're happy for that, for the kids actually, at least they had a nice vacation there, instead of staying at the semi-haunted-creepy-condo. Hahahaha.....so me and the kids went down to the theme park, it has been a long time since I had fun in the water. It was not bad actually, the hard time is only when I need to drag the kids back to the room. Haha, after showering, we had crab dinner.

Again, we're all exhausted. Went back to our abandoned-looked condo, and went into our own sweet dreams. It's a long journey back tomorrow.

The next day, after about an hour plus on the highway, we reached KL, 1110hrs. Initially, I wanted to attend the 12pm lecture. But it ended up we being lost in no-where road of KL, we saw a lot of road signs showing ways to Wangsa Maju and Setapak, but still we couldn't find it. Lost, lost, lost, we took a break and had pizza for lunch. After some direction asking, at last, we reached Setapak. Phew....and that was 1400hrs, when my lecture ends=.=

Mum, dad and sis left after that. Well, now I begin the life being alone in KL.
Hahaha.....

Will update on the happennings soon okay. Owh ya, and some photos, as I forgot my camera cable.

Wesak Day Eve

Okay before I say anything, I NEED to say this, MSN SUCKS!~
Troubleshooting doesn't even help at all!!....can't log in can't log in can't sign in can't sign in.....for days~~~~~

Time for me to...post another something here.
Woah, after 10 days. [I promise I'll update on my clearance kay?:D]

Still having headache today. Don't really know what actually caused it. Woke up about 0930hrs and went to Fettes Park market with my parents for tonight's bbq's necessities, regular marketing and for breakfast.

The weird thing about waking up today is that I can barely open my eyes wide. Not because I'm sleepy I can feel, more like my eye lids are stuck?

HahahAhaha. Crap.
So it turned out to be, charged for 35 chicken wings but that Indian worker only gave me 25 chicken wings. and this means I have to drive back all the way to the market to get back my 10 chicken wings.
Pheewwww....there goes another 15 minutes. Luckily there were no arguments in between.

Went to work at 2. Feeling very sleepy. Always wonder why Fitness First does not ha
ve a staff room, with a nice nice huge couch. Haha....
So hours went on and on.....Thiru brought her home-cooked fish curry and some rice for me as lunch. Yumm yumm....it was really nice. I wonder how nice could it be if I can cook Indian curry.

Then we had some chit-chat until it's time to close the gym. Then it's home for the preparation for the bbq. It took us some time to light up the fire. But with all the cooperation, I guess we did well. There were 8 of us, and lots of food. Chicken wings, Lamb, Fish, Bebola-s, Sausages, Marshmallows, Nuggets, and Drinks.....And Mango Pudding!

Woo-hoo....I guess everyone enjoyed themselves with all the food.
The day e
nded tiring, but great. It has been a long time since we have such outing, even people on MC had fun with us as well! Hohohohoohoho.......
Oh ya...and it's Thiru's Birthday tomorrow! Happy birthday to her!

We had some 5% Vodka Lime as well, just a little....
The sad thing is, I didn't manage to shoot any photos for this outing!!=(

I'm still not feeling quite well in the end. Something's just not in place.
I guess I just need more rest....
Tomorrow's Wesak Day, and I'll go to the buddhist association, I need some luck!:D

BS Clearance

I didn't plan for this.
I wanted it sometime around this time. I know I want to clear it before I go to KL.

But I didn't really set, when.

Until I came for Brandon's class on Friday, 6.25pm. And I felt that I'm ready for it.
If both Brandon and Sam could make it, this will be it.

So I asked permission from Brandon and he asked whether I'm ready. "Yeah, I think so..."I don't sound confident huh....

Then I told WeiYe that I want to team teach with her, she told me to do tracks 8 onwards. Good thing actually, she didn't know that I wanted clearance in her class.

Then I text Sam regarding clearance tomorrow. Only got his reply by 2330hrs.

Yes, so it's a clearance tomorrow.
Prepared for the choreo, scripting and everything. To be honest I didn't prepare as much as the 1st clearance. Instead, I got myself ample sleep, which I think is pretty important.

Woke up early the next morning. Arrived to the gym before 1000hrs, practiced and revised through some tracks, took some snacks and I'm ready to go.

Yup, by that time, only Brandon and Sam knows that I'm clearing. It's better to keep it low profile I think. At least I don't feel stressed.
1200hrs. Time for the class.

WeiYe actually got a shock when Brandon walked in with the evaluation folder. She even asked, evaluating me or you? Hahahaha......

So we started the class with some interesting older releases. There were not too much people in the class. But I do see Judy, Woo and Osmond in the class. Okay, I'll try not to be nervous.
It went pretty well up to my turn to teach. I taught "Get Me Bodied" in Party Step which I really like. No choreo errors throughout the last 3 tracks, till peak. I could say that I'm satisfied. And I really thank Judy's support for clapping after I did tracks 9 and 10.
It made me smile a lil more.

And I was smart enough to choose a track which does not have that much push-ups for the track 11 cause I really suck doing push-ups. Hahaha.....then its cool down.
Yup yup, I'm satisfied.
Took a drink, take a deep breath, it's evaluation time.

Still there were a lot of feedback. But thank god I corrected every single thing Brandon pointed out regarding technique during the 1st clearance. And he knows that I did work for it. There were quite a lot of new technique errors that he discovered. Which made me feel a little exhausted. And they pointed that I did not CRC at all in the class. I think I tried but it doesn't look like a CRC? Haha....I know it's really hard, needing to concentrate on your choreo, techniques and all the members?
I'll work on it.

And I know they expect much more from me....Yaiksssss >.< style="font-style: italic;">"Happy happy joy joy" ....
what Brandon loves to say in Step classes.

So dear people, thanks to those who supported me all way long, and even during clearance
And do visit my classes if it's possible? I promise I'll improve and do better each and every time yea....

Cheers!
After 2 years plus of waiting...I can teach my own class^.^

Coffee treat

I enjoy coffee and tea with milk since young, Nescafe the most.
I used to order
teh peng when I have meals in the hawker center. Till a point where phrases like "teh peng is not good for health" is passed mouth to mouth, I started looking for drinks which taste like teh peng, but not teh peng.

At last, I found this famous drink from Hong Kong, named
yin yang, and in normal hawker centers, cham peng. A mixture of coffee and tea.
Woah.....so nice and refreshing.

During my diploma studies, I started working in a
high-class cafe, Starbucks. Was hoping to work for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf but due to some unforeseen circumstances, Starbucks came into my way. And to be frank, I'm a huge fan of Coffee Bean Ice Blended drinks and I'd never buy any Starbucks drinks before I become a part time barista.

I enjoyed working there. And had a lot of fun serving coffee and other beverages to customers. Of course, I love tasting the products there too. My highest record should be 5 espresso shots in a cup of coffee by 12am? Haha, that's really fun. The best thing is, I never got addicted with coffee. I just have it after meals or during work. I never even bother to make myself a cup of coffee at home.

I Discovered that Starbucks serve great Caramel Macchiatto and Frappucinno Blended Cream.:D

I stopped my job as a barista since April 1st. Undoubtedly I would say that I kinda miss working there, despite being treated in a different kind of way by my store manager, I just love the atmosphere there. Since then, my first visit to Starbucks would be end of April. And I had a treat from my ex-supervisor, A Sherpard's pie and a Grande Dulce De Leche Latte(I'm not sure whether I got the name correctly...=.=). It just tastes great after so long, and being served as a customer.

Well, if there is a chance, yeah, I would like to continue my work there. No doubts. I just feel thankful that I'd known this bunch of coffee-enthusiasts and shared some coffee experiences together. And, a bunch of great friends too.... So, thanks to Alice, Torres, Annaz, Phaik See, Sabrina, See Ling, KK, Chin Teik and ex-partners Elaine, Kelly, Stephen, Benny.
Cheers to all that I've known from Starbucks!^ ^

Office day

It's Tuesday.

Woke up early and went to FF for BLT. It has been a long time since I go for BLT. So, I expect a lot of pain here and there after the class?
Kim did the first half using the step board and some weights, while Jafrey did the second half using the fitball.
Kim's session was a fun and more concentrated on cardio one, while Jafrey's was an abs killing one!
It was real real real tough during the second half. I just felt like giving up....Hahaha....bad la. Such an ineffective work out. :(
But I was really impressed with how Jafrey planned and choreographed the few tracks that he is in charge of. Despite all the injuries he got from mountain biking and so on, he still remained strong and determined on stage. Applause^^ And I guess if I did it properly without stopping throughout the whole class, I could have strengthen my core muscles....Aiks.
Anyway, I am quite satisfied with it and we continued our day with.....FOOD.
Hoho. Since Kim is leaving today, we initially planned to go for
Wan Tan Mee in Fettes Park market and then back to the gym for Jam. But it turned out to be that she has some urgent stuff to settle in KL and she couldn't make it for the nice meal. Sadly....
We still continue our breakfast plan though, so me, Jafrey and some young, strong aunties(:D) went together in Sharon's car. Well, Sharon's car.....it's so luxurious. It was like O.0 to me. Wondering in my mind, when will I have the chance to own this vehicle? .....Toyota Alphard.
Okay, in the market, we da-bao-ed for Kim, and said goodbye.
I had some
char kuey teow and we had a great chit chat together. All sorts of issues, especially kaypo issues in the gym, about members, about instructors, about classes, about future and da da da da da......They are real great people. Fun to talk with, mix with, laugh with and share with. And never arrogant. The age gap seems to fade off at that moment....and it feels, good.
After all the
makan-makan, back to the gym. I was too lazy to continue Jamming, so I decided to take a shower and leave. On my way back, the FOHM asked me whether I'm available this afternoon and evening for work.=.= Good thing for them, yes, I'm available. But bad thing for me, I have to skip Brandon's Pump and Step....Argh.... :( And it's goinna be tiring for me as I need to wake up early for work again the next morning. But what to do....staff shortage.

I went back home and did a little internet search on the essay that I'm supposed to work on. But I was too tired and I end up laying on my bed. Minutes after that, I picked up my mum and drive myself to work. 1400hrs.

I am such a careless person. I parked my car at the meter-based parking lot and left my car key on top of my car boot while I slot in coins for the meter. Lucky enough, I realized that on my way up to office. It was drizzling and thank god my car and car keys are still there...

Hopefully I can finish my work as soon as possible. I need to finalize the debtors list and it'll be all done. Yeah....and money comes in too *winks*
Had a little chat with the boss, and she shared stories about her Form 1 daughter, saying how much activities that she's involved in, how much extra classes such as ballet and piano that she's spending time and money at, and it goes on....It sounded familiar. Me secondary school life used to be this way. And the conclusion is, I had fun on those extra activities but never fun when I need to bring my report card for my dad to sign....Haha. Those days....

Anyway, I managed to complete the accounts on time! Yippee......
and off I go to work at FF.
=.=

The new girl is here and this is my first time working with her. Nothing cranky happened. But I was shocked when I found that there are a lot of basic product knowledge that she is not aware of. So I spent some time explaining this and that, hoping that she could remember them.

And ya, I missed Pump and Step!!!!
Still can't get over this...

Went to buy some snacks about 2130hr. I decided to get myself a waffle. And the Malay lady asked me a question, "You twenty-four ke twenty five?"
!!
Woah, broke my record~
Do I look so old? Or maybe as how nicely people likes to phrase it, so matured?
=.= Even though I'm in that uniform, I still have my childish face marr......

Suak~
Finished work at 11pm and had some discussion till 12am.
Reached home and had my proper dinner and bathed and it's 1.14am.
Woah. And I gotta wake up in another 4+ hours time.

It's office day. And it could be real tiring. Even though if it's just sitting there, smiling.
Haha.Okay, I gotta recharge energy now.....

Wrong Alarm

Okay, this happened last Monday.
(This blog was delayed because it took me such a hassle to open a new blog=.=)

My phone rang early morning.
Early morning as in, 7.25am.
I'm not a working person, (at least not full time), and I don't have exams and I don't need to go to college. So I really don't see it necessary for me to wake up at this hour.

It was FF who called.
I got shocked actually and I was 100% awake from my dreams in all of a sudden just because of the call.
Well, if my mind could function any better, I could've screamed on the phone.

It was a call to ask me to go to work in the afternoon or evening because the person who's supposed to be on duty fell down on who knows which floor or into which hole and got quite seriously injured and had to take 2 days MC.
But, can't the call just come any later?
Hello, it's not even 8am! And such an early call to ask me to work, in the evenings?

I need some really nice sleep la.....

Argh, you can go crazy, just at that moment......

S.C.R.E.A.M~

Tired

It's Sunday, and a busy day for me....

Me and my family didn't sleep early last night as my sis suddenly have the urge to play scrabbles. It's quite a fun thing to do, once in a while with my family, and the game delayed our sleeping time...hmm, till about 0130hr? Well, we enjoyed playing anyway.:D

I gotta wake up at 0750hr today, to attend step tuition. To be frank, I really don't feel like leaving my bed when my alarm rang. But since it's a must....what to do?= (
I know it's goinna be a tiring day.

Got a shock when I arrive at FF with no other step instructors or the master trainer or the KL instructors there. Well, I even thought that the whole step tuition was cancelled and I was not informed about it. When I was about to call Sam for verification, the instructors came in one after another. Relieved.....

Teoh was the one doing the tuition.
The focus for the tuition is Coaching. We were asked to prepare and perform a track on the latest release, BS71 and luckily I did prepare Track 8. But, unfortunately, as I was the only person who arrived on time(ahem....), we started late and did not manage to complete the whole tuition as arranged as BodyBalance is right after our tuition. In the end, we only managed to go through tracks 1-4. Anyway, they promised that they'll arrange another trip back to Penang for tuitions hopefully within another 2 months. Yea, hopefully that'll happen.
*Hmm, the tuition should really be longer larrrr.....*

One more thing, I planned to speak to Jacqueline but I missed the chance! Argh....

Continue on with my schedule. Met my friends at 1-stop and we left for Butterworth for a Seminar. It's something related to direct selling, something which hardly attracts me but somehow the seminar did open my eyes on certain aspects of life. The importance of health.
By the end of the whole seminar,(it's almost 6 hours long!!) I conclude that......I'm really really tired and sleepy!!

Haha, I don't really know what decision to make yet. So just gimme some time to figure it out first~

I reached home about 2030hr. Without dinner. Hmm, I intended to go for dinner with Lynn but then it was cancelled. I was too lazy to go eat alone or even da-bao something back home so I ended up with 3-in-1 mushroom soup and Maggi Cup. All unhealthy instant food.
Who cares anyway, haha.

Haha, how nice if I could be like the cat, just laze around, like what people say in Hokkien, '
nua'....

First Note~

Well, how hard only I managed to start writing my first post..........

First the description of myself, not to mention I wrote it at least thrice. Why? Ya, thanks to my high-tech computer, it hanged twice and gave me a lame reason that it's not responding and whatever I wrote just went to no-where land.

Next, when I was about to do some editing on the format and everything, yea, guess what, IE was not responding again and again..... And it took me quite some time just to adopt myself to this blogger system. I need to insert this and that, I couldn't find this and that....and da da da da da it goes........

So, first of all... Why do I need to venture into this new blog when I've already had a Chinese one?

Well, that's because the previous one is totally in Chinese and apparently some non-Chinese literate pals are unable to read them and 'urged' me to open a new spot here~ *winks*

This is for you! Haha, you'd better leave me some comments yaw....

Well, I'll try to update this lil space here as often as possible okay.... Although I'm not really sure what I'm goinna write and reveal here yet, just some daily stories and thoughts maybe?
So Welcome EVERYONE!~

Cheers~
