It was the annual congregation of HKUST last week.
Because of this huge event.......
1) We can't access to the escalators from Atrium to LG1 Canteen for a month
2) We had to go all around the stairs and lifts of UST to discover the right path to reach Academic Concourse, Sundial and Canteens for 3 afternoons
3) There are never enough ladies toilets for use around Atrium
4) People with graduation robes are all around campus taking photos with friends and their family members, even inside the library and in front of Professor's room~~
5) Flowers and graduation bears are all around...the bears are sooooo cute!!
There should be more......hmm.
6) I had free mini dinner for 2 (supposed to be 3) days sponsored by the uni to all guests and graduates (ya, I actually do not fall into these 2 categories....hehe)
Our atrium, full of graduates
Entrance, photo taking everywhere before the ceremony
Well, it made me think what will it be when I graduate two years from now. Will I be able to even attend graduation? My parents will definitely be here, how about her? Will I have Xiaoqin or any other friends here too? How many bouquet of flowers will I receive? And which bear bear will I get?
Okay, thinking too much......
What class will I be in? Where will I be working by then?
Owh....still thinking.
Owh....still thinking.
Mathematicians~ Aun and Kae
I managed to take some photos with a few Malaysian seniors. All the smart people. One even got his name carved (or whatever you call it) on a "yeng" board in the Academic Councourse in front of LTA stated "President's Cup" winner of 2009.Took some photos with my fencing seniors too.
My sheung sheung jong Benny!
It is a week with full of happiness and enjoyment. Reunion with some of your long-time-no-see friends, being in a graduation robe for the first time ever, receiving your first ever undergraduate degree after all the at least 3 years stress and tension life, thanking the professors you like for the fun lectures and knowledge taught, finally get to leave the life of stress and tension but perhaps starting another life of boredom?Haha....okay, again, thinking too much.
Well, congratulations to the graduates of The 17th Congregation of HKUST!!
